Former North Carolina Poet Laureate, Shelby Stephenson joined the Pamlico Writers and friends for lunch, Tuesday, April 30th. He shared some of his favorite poems, his early life and experiences, what led him to writing and back to college, and some of his favorite students. His has been a life well lived and best shared in poetry and in song.
What a beautiful day! It was a little chilly this morning but by the afternoon it was perfect!

Mandy Monath has once again secured the Carrow House for the Pamlico Writers’ to host their events. We will be teaming up with the Alternative Stage who will be performing excerpts from various Pamlico Writers throughout the day. We will be selling and signing books, and sharing our writing adventures. Come join us for a day of Pirate fun.
